Ivan Mcleod: Hawkeye: The Rapid and Outrageous Life of the Australian Racing Driver Paul Hawkins
This book is about the life of my mums brother, my uncle - Paul Hawkins. He was a Formula 1 and Sports Car champion in the '60's and was tragically killed in 1969 at Oulton Park in England. He was a pretty rough Aussie but a good man with an unbelievable story. My middle name (Paul) is after him.

A great short book (70 odd pages) that outlines a 3 fold way to live our christian life - realise you can't do anything to earn God's grace (Sit), how to have a Walk that's worthy and how to Stand when we need to fight.
Donald J. Trump: Trump: How to Get Rich
This 1-page-at-a-time read will give you tips on everything from how to buy a good suit to how to pray (that's right, The Donald tells us to pray) for the best Personal Assistant (PA).

This is by far my pick for the best book on how to practically lead a group or an organisation on a day-by-day and year-by-year basis.

Friends, Food & Wedding Rings

We had some good friends over for dinner tonight and enjoyed lots of pizza and ice cream...great combination. We love just chilling out with friends on a friday night, relaxing, telling stories, laughing, being laughed at, etc. During the night, my mate told me how he lost his wedding ring this week. As I was expressing my incredulity, my own wedding ring slipped off my finger down the side of the chair. After fumbling for 10 mins to find it, I finally turned the chair upside down. Eventually it appeared again and I felt safe once more. All in all a fun, relaxing night where nobody left hungry!
